Editing Services

Dan has been professionally editing various types of written materials for the past 35 years. The services he provides include the following:

Project editing
Coordinating/editing a project from proposal or rough manuscript to final manuscript, incorporating input from author(s), consultants, and reviewers.
Structural editing
Clarifying and/or re-organising a manuscript for content and structure.  Changes may be suggested to or drafted for the author.
Re-writing
Creating a new manuscript or parts of a manuscript on the basis on content and research supplied by an author.
Copy editing
Editing for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and other mechanics of style; consistency of mechanics and internal consistency of facts.
Proofreading Reading proofs of edited manuscripts.  Galley proofing; page proofing.
